Time Out Club

After School Club

Log cabin at How Wood School

We are based in the log cabin with access to the school hall and outside areas. We will go outside as much as possible to play football, basketball, tennis, cricket, parachute games or just sit and have some quiet time in the fresh air.

A ‘high tea’ is provided and consists of a choice of sandwiches/toast. Once a week we have beans/spaghetti on toast or hot dogs in a bun with juice or water. In the summer we can have a picnic tea outside. Our After School Club is shared by Park Street and How Wood Schools and was set up by ‘Time Out’ staff Karen Chesterman and Angie Kay-Jessop in January 2010.

Our aim is to provide a happy, safe, fun and stimulating environment for the children. We are registered by Ofsted and comply to all Health and Safety standards. We operate in the large log cabin on the How Wood School site.

The Club is staffed by a Manager or Deputy Manager and play workers who make up our excellent team. It runs term time only from 3.15pm - 6.00pm. We are open for all children from the age of 4 – 11years.
